The government of Mexico provides free education through the 6th grade. This does not however mean that every child is able to attend school. There is still the cost of uniforms, books and supplies.

In Cooperation with Faith Ministry IPC provides scholarships to young Mexican students so that they can attend primary school and ever go on to college through our support of secondary and college level students. As we all know education is the major way out of the poverty that the people of Reynosa experience.

Perla, here with Dr. Schwarz is now a Junior at the University in Reynosa majoring in Marketing. We are proud to have sponsored Perla since she was in 4th grade. Her future is brighter because she has chosen the pathway of education.

Louis, seen here with his sponsor Tom, came into our lives in 2005. Through the years of educational sponsorship Tom has developed a strong relation with all of Louis’ family.

Louis’ uncle serves as one of the foremen on the home building projects, and Tom has traveled during the year to make special visits to Louis.
